Cheddar Butter Biscuits

These biscuits are a great addition to any dinner. They are crisp on the outside and moist on the inside with just a hint of the buttermilk taste. The garlic butter glaze just sets these off perfectly.

Ingredients:


2 cups minus 1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp + 2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter (chilled)
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 oz cheddar, shredded
4 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp garlic powder

- Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt

-Add 2 tbsp butter and cut into flour

-Add buttermilk and cheese and combine with fork (avoid handling the dough)

-Drop spoonfuls of dough on greased cookie sheet and bake at 450 for 8-10 min

-Once biscuits are done, melt 4 tbsp butter and add garlic powder.

-Brush garlic butter over biscuits and serve!
